web marketing for dummies

I thought the book was well written, it was nice to have a mixture of experts on their subjects. If you’ve read some of the other internet marketing (like seo, ppc, etc)for dummies books, you’ll appreciate the shorter chapters here. It really sums everything up in a lot less pages than one of the full books. For me, reading Search Engine Optimization for Dummies and then reading this book with the sections it felt more organized and not as repetitive.

Excellent advice, clearly written
on April 18, 2009
Web Marketing for Dummies is full of excellent, and useful, advice. Admittedly, the size was a little daunting. But then how else would they have fit so much stuff between the covers? As a small business owner who knows that I ought to do more, but isn’t always sure what to do, I found this an excellent guide. It helped me discern what would be useful for me and my client base, and what strategies I could (for now) set aside. I highly recommend this, and don’t be put off by the size, it isn’t scary once you open it up!

This book was a gift. After my friend started reading it he told me:
A great overview of the subject

It seems kind of odd to buy a book on this subject when most of this information is available on the web; if you go look for it. This book offer good, detailed coverage on each subject, written in understandable terms. I know what to look for if I need more current information on any topic. My only critique, and it really isn’t a criticism, is that they give you a lot for your money. This is a big book and not easy to carry around in a briefcase or backpack. It’s better as a desk reference. So, please put it on Kindle. I will gladly buy it again so i can have a reference on the go.
Too Big for a Door Stop

For the money, this is physically the largest book I’ve ever purchased. This book not only SAYS it is 8 books in one, it really is! And, like all the Dummies books, it is easy to read and very informative. We are launching a new website ([…]) later this month and found to book to be everything it promises. The books on technical things are too technical for me, but I’m passing the information on to our web designer. The books on PR and SEO and content are excellent. I WILL keep it on my desk and refer to it often.
