As a life coach I am always interested in the “workings” of the human mind and I must say this book was fascinating to me. Very well written, I stayed absorbed in it to the end and found the content so relevant that I started taking notes for myself to reference in my work. The premise of the “distraction marketing” I am somewhat familiar with but the spin the author chose to give was quite intriguing and was a refreshing new take on the subject. There are a lot of other marketing and distraction, hypnotic and sales technique books to be read, but “this” one should be put at the top of your need to read list. There is valuable information in this book and something quite unexpected. A sense of humor by the author that makes you feel as if you are getting a private inside lesson from someone you know. You will find it is time and money well spent. I give it five stars plus and I am very pleased I found it.

I never read a marketing book like this one – very original (to me) ideas. Perhaps the best part is the author gives specific directions for how to take his concepts and implement them right away. He gives you all the links and resources you need to become a distraction marketer.

This interesting book has a lot of ideas on different ways to get the attention of prospective customers without having to ‘sell them’. It also lists many other resources to find products to sell and websites to place ads etc. I will be trying some of these techniques.
