Jim’s book is most definitely worth the fee charged for it. It is practical and I gained at least a half-dozen ideas that I can implement immediately in my business. It is very good for a first edition, there are a few typo’s (and I used the pc/kindle tool to send in suggested corrections), but the essential meaning was never lost in the text.

The path to success in Facebook is content.

The best book on how to succeed with Facebook! This is the only book that gave me the exact way to build a succesful page. Step by step and with lots of examples the book covers all you need for your page readers to click “Like” in an irresistible way. Jim Arthur Van Wyck teaches you what most books will not teach you, how to achieve great content. I found this book looking for a book that would tell me what to put in my page. Most books on Facebook, some of them excellent, gave me marketing techniques, but not a single book until now, with the exception of this one told me how to write and create content for my page. This book taught me what I knew was true about writing. If what makes a great book is great content, the same is true for Facebook. Facebook is forever changing its rules and policies. Although several years old this book offers sound advise for current day fan pages. Jim Arthur Van Wycks’ suggestions are rooted in the most basic of selling skills… satisfying the customer. Give the customer what they want, copious amounts of good content delivered often and you will get all the “likes” you can handle. I will keep this gem on my carousel to constantly remind me to treat my FB Friends as friends.

I just finished reading “Get More Likes” and was blown away by the large amount of information Jim was able to put in such a compact book. Most authors spend far too much time trying to prove to the world how smart they are by big words and long chapters. Frankly, I prefer “meat” to “mashed potatoes” and Jim succeeds by by passing the fluffy stuff and jumps right into the important things I needed to know to make my Facebook Fan Page move into high gear.
